The Dream Team

So you’ve rediscovered your love for fantasy, you’re knee-deep in morally questionable love interests, and all you really want is to scream about plot twists and dragon-sized sexual tension with people who get it?

Welcome home, babe. You’ve found your gang.

Fantasy Bookclub Scotland is co-hosted (chaotically and gloriously, thank you very much) by Amy and Becca, two bisexual, neurodiverse gremlins with a deep-rooted love for romantasy, emotional devastation, and an unhinged group chat.

After a decade long friendship which was forged in the fiery realms of a martial arts class, these two ladies got together and thought, 'WHY ARE THERE NO BOOKCLUBS JUST FOR SMUT?'

✨So they made one✨

What started with six pals in a Glasgow pub and a bottle (ok, two) of fizz has exploded into over 120 members across Scotland, monthly meetups, three books a month, guest hosts, group chats, merch, and so much fantasy nonsense we had to start giving it structure (barely).

And now? You’re one of us.

Come meet your fellow book babes, scream about shadow daddies, and join the Council of Chaos.

BECCA SMYTH

What can we say about Becca that she hasn't already said about herself (classic over sharer)

Florist, Black Belt, Sword Collector and occasional Project Manager, Becca spins a lot of plates. But her favourite by far is bookclub.

A fan of anything Dragon, Fae, Vampire or Witch realted, Becca is happiest reading spicy fantasy, on the sofa with her pup and drinking copious amouts of herbal tea

AMY WATSON-KEAST

A chaos-wrangling, full-time mum and communications consultant by day and full-time nerd and bookclub babe by night.

There’s literally no genre she won’t devour. She’s got strong opinions, fast reading skills, and a deep love for fictional drama.

She’s not big on herbal tea, but she lives for THE TEA. So spill your wildest theories, most unhinged opinions, and hottest takes. She’s probably already thought of them. Twice.
